Buzz On Over to Volunteer

Service Opportunities for Youth

The Honeybee Discovery Center offers volunteer opportunities for groups as well.  Groups can choose to volunteer together or as rotating members depending on the nature of service.

Groups choosing to volunteer corporately and complete a project, will select an act of service that the whole group can get behind and do together as a single event.  Examples of group projects might include: Gift Shop space make-over, Volunteer Office refresh, or “street team” or set up/take down support at a one day HDC Special Event.

Groups may also choose to engage in an ongoing project with individual members participating at different times.  For example, sponsoring a monthly gallery story time each month for our young museum visitors where group members rotate their service participation.

Service Opportunities for Groups
